Theoretical, Applied and Comparative Linguistics (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated February 1, 2022 No. 33-r).

The article is about the origin of culture as the overcoming process of anticultural phenomena, expressed by the terms "wildnes", "barbarism", "vandalism", "ignorance". The contents of the given concepts is briefly considered.
