Identity: on Methodology Problems
The article deals with the issues of identity, which is regarded as a form of knowledge and an element of the everyday life. It is shown that identity combines the features of various forms of knowledge, such as concept, theory, objective picture of the world and narrative. It is emphasized that within the process of communication, identity fulfills the role and function of conditional social information.
The article analyses the relationship between personal identity with the social macro identity – civil, political and ethnic. In this context, the author proposes a number of types of personal identity: sacral ad imputed, corporate-transformational and communicative-spectral.
