The Search of Methodology of Studying of the Russian National Identity

The authors analyse methodology of research of the Russian identity and they come to a conclusion that the identity problem is equivalent to a problem of autonomy of consciousness. The article allows to understand better an essence of originality of Russian national consciousness, to deepen validity of positions about specificity of forms of national culture and the Russian civilization in aspect of topology of its subject. To underline completeness consciousness autonomies, it is offered to enter concept of relevance of consciousness which fixes not only completeness, but also self-disclosing of an autonomy of consciousness in the course of designing of collective and individual historicity.
