Explication of the “Communicative Space” Concept in the Categorical Philosophical Discourse: State of the Problem
Communicative space is a sought-after category of philosophical discourse, though the boundaries of this concept have not yet been determined, thus it prevents the effective study of the spatial characteristics of communication. Comparing the informative characteristics of the communicative space with such concepts used as its synonyms as “information environment”, “communicative environment”, “language environment”, “information space”, “discourse”, “media space”, “mediareality”, “hyperreality”,"virtual space", "virtual reality", "cyberspace", "network space", etc. shows that the concept of "communicative space" cannot be defined
through the concepts of "environment", "discourse" or "reality” as well as their specific forms or types. Along with non-communicative space, communicative space is one of the levels of functioning of cultural space, which is the mutual arrangement of communication elements in relation to each other, affecting the communication process itself and ensuring the preservation, reproduction and creative transformation of culture.
