(Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don, Russia)

Using regional archival materials, it presents specific examples of Nazi cruelty against minors, emphasizing both the physical and moral nature of oppression. The author has developed key response strategies for children: affective irritation; ideological and practical resistance; forced everyday conformity and adaptation; conscious cooperation and collaboration. Conclusions are drawn regarding the choice of response to changing life circumstances.
