Psychologism of Communication in Russianand English-Language «Female» Podcasts

The article focuses on the phenomenon of psychologism in Russian and English-language feminine-oriented podcasts on psychological topics. The paper introduces and substantiates the concept of «hidden media psychologism» for the analysis of speech influence implicit mechanisms. Based on the material of selected podcasts, the key communicative strategies (personalisation, intimisation, involvement) and speech tactics that provide a psychological impact on the audience and the formation of parasocial relationships are identified and classified. The study confirms the homogeneity of the basic strategies of psychological influence in a cross-cultural context.
