The theoretical and practical aspects of the protection of environment are being discussed in the article. There are given the recommendations on the protection of the environment and on the usage of industrial waste, the goal of which is to improve the quality of soil. The methods of ecological and economical evaluation of the efficiency of environmental protection are given there too.
