The hierarchical type of composition of the social organizations is considered. A measure of the hierarchical rank of a subject of the social system that takes into account the system stratifications based on different criteria is proposed. Some properties of the measure and its connections with another known rank measures are analyzed. A mathematical formalism is used for the description of the social stratification structures, the precising sociological interpretations are given.
