Arising and development genetical studies in Rostov State University are described. It's short stories about founders the chair of genetics - prof. A.F. Lebedev, I.F. Ljashenko, about Yu.D. Beletsky, who discovered artificial cytoplasmatical mutagenesis in plants and about roles of Yurij A. Zhdanov in history of genetics in Rostov's University.
