"V dvizhenji schastie moe..."

(Rostov-on-Don)

130-Year-long since A.M. Butlerov's works retrospective of tautomerism phenomenon investigation is shown. This is discussed with respect to organic compounds structure, intramolecular dynamics and reactivity studies. Valuable contribution of the Rostov University chemists, who were the first to discover Acylotropy Phenomenon, in the development of the studies of the molecular rearrangements, based on the quick transfer of organogen elements, is depicted. Above rearrangements simulate the key primary acts of the most important biochemical transferrase reactions; the quest for, discovery, and investigation of the latter ones were initiated by the correspondent member of Russian Academy of Science Yu.A. Zhdanov 30 years ago.
