In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. The effort has taken to analyze the condition of bilingual education in the USA. The author comes to the conclusion that bilingual education in the USA is far from the exellence and it must be taken into account in the case of adapting bilingual programmes in Russian context.
