The unexplored, but efficient and actual problem in literary studies - the influence of the Koran on formation and development of the national culture is the theme of this article. The influence of the Koran philosophy of life is studied on the material of Avar poetry, its genres, content, structure, style, vocabulary and phraseology, on transformed samples of ancient folk-lore plots and characters, aphoristics.
