Russians and Caucasians essay of habitual perceptions
The First part of the article focuses at the succession of Russian images of Caucasians - from early poetic romanticism to modern revival of Caucasophobia. The Caucasian images of Russia/Russians will be presented in the second part of the article. The main objectives of the author was to elucidate these ideological and day-to-day patterns as subjectively rational interpretations of specific experiences, and to show that these patterns are not yet tied exclusively to peculiar geographic and historical locale, but rather to different types of social agents/agencies.
