Some aspects of soviet linguistic politics and its results

In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. Some aspects of soviet linguistic politics and its results

The article touches the aspects of soviet linguistic politics and as result we have the limitation of functions of Russian language in post-Soviet period. Furthermore, we can notice the direct link between modern Russian linguistic politics present situation of Russian language in Georgia. At the same time we can underline, that a huge part of population masters Russian language better than any other second language.
