Medicophysiological researches on Elbrus: results and prospects

Results of medicophysiological researches of hypoxia conditions in high-mountainous areas of Caucasus are generalized. Classification of hypoxia types a various origin and methods of active step adaptation to conditions of mountain heights are resulted.
Opportunities of the further development of the medicoecological program of "Persons-Ecology-Cosmos" are considered. Researches are carried out by scientists of the International centre of astronomical and medicoecological researches of the Russian Academy of Science, Ukraine National Academy of Sciences at support of the Government of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic
