The article describes the interethnic relations in the Stavropol Territory. The role and status of diasporas in the area is stated as an important factor in above mentioned relations. In the focus of the article lays the multiple interactions of the Organs of the state power and ethnocultural organizations. The author states that the role of diasporas in the system of civil society is steadily growing.
