In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. The Quantity as a logical category

This article is logical reflection on the definition of the category of Quantity and proof of its dialectical transition into Quality. Returning to the Hegelian analysis of this theme based on the achievements of mathematical thought as such we could distinguish this transition from the phenomenon famous as "the dialectics of boiling kettle".
