Fundamental study on the history of Islam in the Caucasus

In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. On the basis of unique manuscript "Raikhan al-khakaik va bustan ad-dakaik" ad-Derbendi (died in 1145) the author presented a brilliant study of the epoch of classic Islam in the Caucasus. Number of cardinal problems - genesis of political formations of Daghestan, process of islamization, theory and practice of Sufism, a special form of being of Islam in the North Caucasus, - are examined in the monograph.
