The role of ethnos and ethnic factor in modern civilization process is being analyzed in the article on the foundation of numerous phenomena. Obsolete character of the existing ethnic methodology, its inadequacy to real globalization epoch processes is being underlined. The means to creation of the new ethnic methodology on the basis of modern ideas and conceptions of the sociologic science and philosophy are being marked in the article.
