In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. Nationalism as the factor and driving force in the international attitudes

The article analyzes the basic features of modern nationalism as the phenomenon generated by interrelations of postmodernism and globalization. The author considers the basic theories and directions of national separatism and comes to the conclusion about dual character of ethnonational processes which include both positive and negative consequences for the person and societies.
