The article is devoted to van of the main problem Gogol's creavit the problem of a parity between ethical and aesthetic, the relationship of the goodness and the beauty penetrated by its religions predilections. It is noted that the regions in the novel "Taras Bulba" have caused inconsistent interpretation in the critic.
