The Concept of Local Civilization in the Methodology of the Ethnic Historiography

The Concept of Local Civilization in the Methodology of the Ethnic Historiography

The paper argues that the methodological line of exaggerating the role of ethnicity in the historical processes of the 1990's can be overcome through the concept of local civilizations. An original concept of informational-communicative local Caucasus civilization is proposed.
