The Process of Loan Words and its Characteristics

In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. The Process of Loan Words and its Characteristics

The article highlights and regards some important characteristics of the process of loan words assimilation in the Russian language. The author considers the process to be long-lasting, gradual, uneven and stresses that there must be a "demand" for the loan word in the receiving language.
