The Syntactical Function of Infinitive in Turkish and its Correspondence in the Mongolian Language

The Syntactical Function of Infinitive in Turkish and its Correspondence in the Mongolian Language

The paper is devoted to investigation of the syntactic functions of the infinitive in Turkish and corresponding to it grammar constructions in the Mongolian language which are adduced for the comparison. Comparative analysis of the syntactic functions of Turkish infinitive and corresponding to it in appointed function verbal forms of Mongolian makes it clear, that there is no material similarity in this grammar category. At the same time as far as it in other Mongolian and Turkish languages, we can see a considerable resemblance in syntax in Turkish and modern Khalkha-Mongolian, which defines the character of their community.
