Iron Lady’s Portrait in modern English fiction

The article proposes to introduce Thatcherism as a phenomenon which attracted reflection of many English fiction writers. Sharp social criticism in English novel of 1980–1990 is closely connected with the effects of market oriented ideology. It seems promising way of revealing the specific character of British postmodernism.
