Muslim’s Life of Peoples on the North Caucasus During the Russian Religious Policy in 19th – at the Beginning of 20th

The aim of this article is study the main aspects of Russian religious policy at the end of 19th – at the beginning of 20th. Based on materials from Russian Archives there are some tendencies of Islamic life of the peoples on the North Caucasus. From the one side Russia tryied to control Muslims, from the other, Russia wanted to create Islamic elite and include Muslims in the Russian administration.
