About the Specific Character of French Language Imagination (Based on Example of Phraseologycal Units Denoting “the non-Existent”)

The authors touch upon the problem of the reflection of language imagination in phraseological units, in particular, French phraseological units denoting “the non-existent”. The analysed phraseological material permitted to work out the classification of phraseological locutions of this kind which could be put into practice of phraseological description of other national languages.
