Romantic Apocalypse: Mary Shelly’s insights

The paper is dedicated to the investigation of the apocalyptic theme in the English Romanticism and in the Mary Shelly’s works on the base of her novels “Frankenstein” and “The Last Man”. The author studies the reasons of the actualization of the mentioned theme in the Romantic literature and its interpretation in the Mary Shelly’s works.
