In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. The article shows spiritual influence of V.I. Vernadsky on Yu.A. Zhdanov`s activity. Phenomenon of Zhdanov`s personality is analysed in a row of outstanding scientists – conseptualists and encyclopedists – representatives of V.I. Vernadsky`s traditions in the history of culture. Scientific heritage of Zhdanov reflects the essential traits of work of these representatives.
