Effect of Suspense from the Point of View of Pragmalinguistic (in Magazine Headlines)
The article is devoted to the analyses of the language device of suspense as pragmalinguistic problem. It is shown that the pragmatic effect of suspense consists in the intention of the author to attract the readers’ attention, stimulate their interest and have some impact on them.
