Civilization Status of Caucasus: the Problem of Classification

In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. Civilization Status of Caucasus: the Problem of Classification

The article is dedicated to the actual problem of Caucasus civilization identification. The author analyzes different opinions on sotiocultural belonging of Caucasian region and offers to consider Caucasus as original civilization system.
