Linguo-pragmatic Characteristics of Letters to the Editor (Based on the Material of Letters to the Editor of “The Guardian” Newspaper)

The article is devoted to the study of pragmatic characteristics of texts of letters to the editor of “The Guardian” and to description of their basic linguistic parameters.
The author reveals and describes the basic linguo-pragmatic characteristics of letters in comparison of letter-comment with previous newspaper article.
