The Diachronical Model of the Etymological Development of the English Language

The article is devoted to the investigation of the origins and sense development of thousands of words of the English vocabulary. The fact that throughout centuries it had contacts with other countries is reflected now in the vocabulary because English borrows words incessantly but various periods of its development have their own measure of borrowings.
