Chiasmus as a Stylistic Dominant in A. Blok’s Lyrics

Chiasmus as a Stylistic Dominant in A. Blok’s Lyrics

The syntactical figure – chiasmus which is the stylistic dominant in A. Blok’s lyrics is investigated. On the basis of studied examples in the poet’s individual style the main varieties of chiasmus were clearly recognized, its stylistic functions, principle of contrast in creating of artistic figures.
