Modern tools of state regulation of ecological safety of a large megacity оn an example of the Rostov agglomeration, namely the ecological control, ecological monitoring, ecological examination, ecological rationing, certification, certification are considered. The analysis of a state of environment of dwelling in a megacity and measures of state structures on preservation of the environment on maintenance of safe ability to live of the population is given.
