Toast as the Speech Genre of the First Level in the Modern Conception of Scientific Knowledge

Toast as the Speech Genre of the First Level in the Modern Conception of Scientific Knowledge

The article is dedicated to the problem of toast studying from the point of view of genre property and its specification in the modern conception of scientific knowledge. According to M.M. Bakhtin’s theory the author qualifies toast as the speech genre of the first level. Such an approach is argued by the toast’s genre characteristics analysis, its main semantic components and pragmatic features. The topicality of this research is caused by analysis of some toast’s peculiarities in the aspects of lingvoculturology and anthropology.
