Feokhary Kessidi: in Search of the Antiquity Formula

The article reads about the theoretical views of F. Kessidi, the eminent contemporary scholar of Greek philosophy. Special attention is paid to his conception of the transition from myth to logos and the sources of the “theoretical” attitude to the world. The author puts across the idea that F. Kessidi’s philosophical views were based on his life experience and reasoning about the destinies of the Pontic Greeks and peoples of the Caucasus.
