In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. Borrowing as the Aspect of New Words Formation

The article studies the borrowing as one of the sources of lexical renovation of modern Russian language. The author analyses the volume and contents of the term “borrowing” and the problem of terminology in naming the words of foreign origin.
