The article considers the problem of the “shahid” concept definition in Muslim theology and philosophy through the religious analysis and interpretation of the prophet and the founder of Islam Mohammed’s conferrings. The main objective of the research is the dispelling of the stereotype about suicides-condemned men who in modern society are perceived as shahids. The true essence of the given phenomenon which can be defined as a voluntary victim, self-devotion for the welfare of other people and negation of human independence is shown during the analysis.
