In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. Meanings and Senses of Political Symbols

The article concerns the relations of significant semiotical terms of meaning and sense having being attributed to political symbols. The author argues these notions are not identical. The meaning of political symbol concerns the historical, socio-cultural, political and etc. information coded with semiotic tools. The sense deals with personal, mentally processed information that is formed by the “collision” of consciousness with internal and external realities.
