On the Premium Authorities’ Policy on Peace Initiatives the North Caucasus in the First Half of the 20th Сentury

The policy of the local military authorities and the government in the ?eld of encouragement of efforts of the North Caucasians directed on strengthening of interethnic communications and integration of region in structure of the Russian empire is considered. The author does a conclusion that variety of the peace initiatives coming into the view of the authorities and encouraged with them became a consequence of an establishment of close mutual relations between Russia and North Caucasians. It is shown that the policy of delivery of awards in region was rather various. The recognition of various merits accelerated interaction and cooperation with mountaineers, promoted their strong inclusion in empire structure.
