The article is devoted to the actual problems of research of sociocultural marriage norms, formation and development of the given problematic in a Cultural studies research space. The special attention is given to the problematic of a wide spectrum of norms (social, legal, ethical and religious), regulating and de?ning social institute of marriage and family in a modern society.
