The article deals with pollution of the southern (chestnut) chernozem by oxides of Cr, Cu, Ni and Pb. Established that the heavy metal oxides form the next row on the degree of negative impact on the biological properties of chernozem: CrO3> CuO ? NiO ? PbO.
