The article investigates the fundamental de?nitions and social characteristies of the professional ethics; examines essential aspects of the professional ethics in state employee’s public activities as applied to Russian sociocultural situation; substatiate the necessity of perfecting the professional ethics and morality being an element of the mechanism to oppose the corruption.
