Baku in Poems by A. Adalis


The Adalis’ role in opening Baku’s theme in Russian poetry in 1930s is shown. Adalis was one of the most active members in the group of Russian poet who arrived in Baku in the middle of 1930s and who had a problem to translate the patterns of Azerbaijan folklore and literature. The author analyzes the row of poems about Baku by Adalis.
