In Quest of the Origin and Functions of the Afﬁx –s’a / -s’

The afﬁx –s’a and it’s variant (-s’) in different language systems are analyzed. The material of the Russian, the place of –s’a / -s in the Ancient Indo-European and in other linguistic systems let to describe various functions of this particle and to draw a conclusion of it’s original meaning.
