The key factors and trends of the territorial organization of society in post-Soviet period: metropolization, territorial and social inequalities growth, economic and demographic “desertification” of periphery, socio-economic enclavisation and expansion of polycentrism are identified; development of the universal all-Russian processes in the specific conditions of the South Russia territorial and economic system are shown.
