Religious Power and the Peculiarity of Its Interaction with State

The article analyzes the concept and essence of religious authority. In article the concept and essence of the religious power is analyzed, its basic signs are de?ned. In it is established that religiousness ?nds the expression in various displays of social institutes, including in activity of the religious power. The author considers that despite formal character of the religious power in the secular society, under certain conditions it can lead partial clericalization the states.
