Totalitarian Discourse as a Type of Political Discourse

In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. Totalitarian Discourse as a Type of Political Discourse

The article focuses on totalitarian discourse as a special type of political discourse. It is analyzed from the viewpoint of its substantial characteristics and approaches to its study. Linguistically signi?cant features of totalitarianism are singled out alongside with the conditions under which political discourse turns into the totalitarian one.
