In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. Discourse Approach to the Study of Imperative Category

The article investigates the writings of the leading Russian and foreign linguists who studied the linguistic categories of discourse and imperativeness. The author provides her own deﬁnition of the imperative discourse on the basis of ethnical linguistics and taking into account the latest achievements in the discourse language analysis.
